Well Spring is finally in the air here in Minnesota, it’s been a brutal winter and a tough spring but warmer weather is here! With the warm spring air and the warm sun heating things up there is no doubt an uptick in stuffy noses and itchy, watery eyes.
Moselle Natural Health has plenty of options for you to beat those pesky allergy issues. I highly recommend staying away from over the counter pharmaceuticals and choose whole food supplements to combat allergies this season. Here are a few options for you to consider:
- Allernest from Marco Pharma is a great place to start. It’s a super gentle but effect homeopathic that is easy to add to water, which makes it a great option for young kids who struggle when things start to bloom.
- My personal favorite antihistamine is Antronex from Standard Process. 4 per day for adults, 2 in the morning and 2 in the late afternoon is usually enough to clear up my sinuses.
- Allerplex is another great option from Standard Process for those seeking relief from the allergy blues. Allerplex will help support your ability to move mucus as well as supporting your respiratory tract. This is a phenomenal product that includes Antronex.
- Histoplex-AB from Biotics Research. The AB is short for airborne and the potent combination of herbs does a great job of supporting your respiratory system.
A final tip is to keep your nasal passages clean. I use Hydrastis right after my showers, two sprays in each nostril to help keep them open and clear. This is also a great product to use if you feel nasal or sinus congestion coming on.
Here is a link to all of the allergy products I carry, I’m confident they will help you with your allergy issues!
For those who have tried these or other products and have not experienced any benefits I’d recommend doing either an inhalant allergy test, a mold allergy test, or a MycoTox mold exposure test to see if you are reacting to one or both of those types of allergens. The MycoTox profile will show if you have chronic exposure to mold. Mold issues are becoming more and more prevalent and mold is often one of the most overlooked issues and it’s easily mistaken for seasonal allergies. Contact me if you’d like to learn more about either of the two tests.
